A Bible story, a worship video, or a thoughtful reflection can begin with one simple question: “How can I share something that helps someone today?”
You don’t need to master every AI tool. Begin with a clear message, a small project, and a willingness to review what you create.
Start with Scripture and purpose
Before writing a prompt, read your chosen Bible passage in context.
What happens in the passage? What does it teach? Who are you hoping to encourage?
Write your purpose in one sentence. For example: “I want to help someone who feels overlooked reflect on Jesus’ encounter with Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1–10.”
Let that purpose guide your creative choices.
Choose one small project
Start with something you can finish:
- A Bible-inspired illustration with a short reflection.
- A one-minute devotional video.
- A printable page with thoughtful questions.
- A visual background for your original worship music.
Give the project one main message. You can explore more ideas another day.
Give AI a clear brief
Describe the audience, purpose, format, and mood. Explain what must remain accurate and what should be avoided.
Here is a starting prompt:
“Suggest three visual concepts for a short Christian reflection about Jesus meeting Zacchaeus, based on Luke 19:1–10. Use a respectful first-century setting. Separate details stated in Scripture from artistic choices. Do not invent dialogue and present it as a Bible quotation.”
Treat the response as a starting point for your own work.
Review with care
Compare Bible references and quotations with the passage itself. Check images for distracting mistakes and consider whether the finished piece communicates your intended message.
Ask: Is it clear? Is it faithful to the passage? Have I presented imagined details honestly?
When relevant, explain how AI assisted the work and acknowledge other people’s contributions.
Keep your own voice
Your experiences, prayers, musical choices, and understanding of your audience give the project its personal character.
Use AI to explore possibilities while keeping responsibility for the final result.
Begin with one passage. Create one useful piece. Share it with care.
